Pressure-sensitive safety edges and bumpers guard the moving hazards mats can't: closing edges on powered doors and gates, moving tables and carriages, automated guided vehicles, and machine axes that travel toward fixed structures. Contact anywhere along the profile signals the controller to stop or reverse the motion.
Extruded rubber profiles are cut to length for the application and sealed against oils and washdown; larger foam-filled bumpers extend the sensing distance where stopping time is longer. Monitored by the same dual-channel controllers used for safety mats.
